Stud News
We are pleased to announce that the Kennel Rhapsody German Pinschers (USA) has imported frozen semen from Chester. We are proud that Chester will soon support this great kennel :-)
Update
Chester has contributed to improving and preserving his breed incredibly much, by being the sire of 43 puppies in 3 different countries. I am extremely proud that he was asked for so many times and that his litters are great in structure and character. To avoid narrowing of the gene-pool of the German Pinscher, he will have a breeding break now. Many of his puppies are supposed to be used for breeding in the future, and he is and will be part of many pedigrees. It is incedible he has contributed so much to his breed within just 1.5 years, and being just 3 years old. We thank all breeders for their trust and we are grateful for the awesome experiences we have made on this way!

14.10.2020:
Yipie, today Chester had his yearly eye examination, and again everything clear :-) He was a very good boy at the vet :-)
30.09.2020:
Yipie, today we already received the official certificate for the title "PSK Klubsieger"! We are very happy :-)

26.09.2020:
Yipie, Chester collected his 3rd EXC1 in the 3rd Club-Dog-Show in "adult" class today! So we can now make application for the title "PSK Klubsieger" (English ~ Club Winner)! We are so proud! After the long break due to Covid-19, he got the 2 missing EXC1 within 3 weeks and therefore completed the title within 3 Club-Dog-Shows - this is the minimum number of shows a dog can win this title with! And all 3 results were with great judge reports, also today! His first 'adult class club show' was his debut in intermediate class, were he won his class with EXC1 and won BOS, the second was his debut in open class 3 weeks ago where he won his class against 3 other dogs (where the 3 other dogs all got a Very Good, only Chester got an Excellent), and the third was today.

22.08.2020:
Chester was on holiday with my best friend Ynke and me, 1 week in the East of Germany :-) It was a very lovely vacation, and Chester tested swimming for the first time. He was such a good boy, and he is so self-confident - nothing could disturb him. Chester immediately accepted the new flat as "our" house, and we could leave him alone for an hour already the 3rd day. He loved all the hiking trips and exploring new cities and places :-)
31.07.2020:
Unfortunately, the PSK stopped releasing stud dog catalogues and also deleted the ones that had already been released. But all information that was contained in the catalogue can also be found on this website and on the GPDB (whose link you can find at "About Chester").

Today, Chester met Lilly for the first time, and this beautiful red female and Chester are a very nice couple :-)

In the updated stud dog catalogue of the PSK, new pictures of Chester will be contained.

11.01.2020:
Yipie, Chester has now an entry in the stud dog catalogue of the PSK. Contained are 3 photos and some health information, as well as his titles.
31.10.19:
Yipie, the official breeding license with "excellent", reached us per post today - so now, Chester is a 'real' stud dog! We're so happy and proud!
18.10.19:
Finally, the certificate for the title "PSK Klubjugendsieger" arrived! We are so proud of this second PSK title!
14.10.19:
Today, we handed in the application form for the breeding license. Now it won't be long until we get the license :-) We reckon it'll be end of October.
06.10.19:
Chester got his evaluation for the breeding license with "excellent" today! The judge was especially impressed by his character. Also his phenotype was positively judged, and the judge Mr. Freudenberger even emphasised at the end of the event that Chester's character is exactly the one that is needed in the breeding of German Pinschers - We are so, so proud and happy!

The certificate for the title "VDH Jugendchampion" arrived today - we are so proud! Chester's first champion title :-)

This was our first dog show abroad and thus also the first time Chester started in intermediate class abroad, and we are happy that we had a good start into the new dog show year :-)
The judge was especially impressed by Chester's very friendly character and his cool behaviour during check of the teeth, and emphasised in the judge report that Chester is very masculine and strong square built, is a very happy dog, is very well angulated and has an excellent top line and chest.

KSA Paderborn, 06. September 2020:

Finally, after 7 months without dog shows, we had our first dog show since February today, and it was the first time in Open class for Chester. There were 4 dogs in his class, and Chester won rightaway with EXC1, and got an amazing judge report! Also, I could only tie the show leash around my belly and use one hand to lead and present him, because I underwent surgery of the left shoulder just 2 weeks ago. And although this was a very exciting situation for Chester, he presented himself perfectly, paid attention only to me all the time, it was great :-) We are very proud that our Open class debut went so well :-)

KSA Dormagen, 26. September 2020:

Yipie, today Chester got an EXC1 again - so we can make application for the title "PSK Clubwinner" now! For that title, a dog needs 3 x EXC1 in an "adult" class (intermediate or open) - and this was just Chester's 3rd show in adult class! So he gets this title now with the minimum number of club shows: 3 shows, 3 times EXC1 - all with great judge reports! We are so, so proud of this handsome boy :-) Also, Chester presented himself perfectly again - although the circumstances were suboptimal: It was cold, raining all the time, and the GPs were set for 15:45, but started (without informing us!) at 15:20! So, we hurried to the area, I just changed my boots, put off my jacket, put on Chester's show leash, and then we hurried to the ring - without any sniffing or training with him before. Additionally, I was of course very excited and all in a hurry, but Chester just stayed completely relaxed and presented himself perfectly! The judge took her time, went around us and dictated a long judge report - and Chester stood still almost 1 minute! The judge report is long AND great!

Chester's achievements at dog shows within 5 months:

During these only 5 months, Chester won 5 show titles (Landesjugendsieger Thüringen, Jugendsieger Hannover, Annual Trophy Youth Winner, Herbstjugendsieger Dortmund, Spreewaldsieger Lübben) and completed 2 youth champion titles (German VDH Youth Champion, PSK Klubjugendsieger) - We are so proud of our beautiful red boy and his success <3

Both days, Chester got the result "Excellent 1" and was Youth-BOB, and on the international dog show, he thus also won the title Landesjugendsieger Thüringen! We are very proud!
KSA Osnabrück 22. September 2019:

This was the first time Chester started in intermediate class - and it was a success! He not only won his class, but also got Best of Opposite Sex! We are so happy!

We can't believe it - Chester not only got EXC1 and Youth-BOB at both days, but on the first day he won the BOB against 6 other German Pinschers! We are so proud and happy!
VDH Bundessieger - & Herbstsieger- Dog show 2019 Dortmund, 12./13. October 2019:

At the first day, it was the same as in spring: The carpet in the ring was soaked with urine of a bitch on heat, so Chester didn't present himself at all. He was actually not rateble at all. So, he got only a very good 1.
​
At the second day, the carpet hadn't been changed or cleaned, so I feared that the same thing will happen as on the first day. But, to my surprise, today Chester presented himself much better (not perfect, but ok) - and so, this time he got an EXC1 and therefore won the title Herbstjugendsieger Dortmund! He also won the Youth-BOB!
